What We Do
Founded in 2016, Paramount Sports Advisory is a boutique firm that provides you with the guidance and support needed to navigate the world of hockey. Based in Edmonton, AB, we offer you our expertise and assistance with sports pathway planning, development, and decision-making. Specific services and expertise provided can vary based on the goals and needs of each player and their family, which is why our in-depth introductory interview is so valuable. When we know what you and your family are all about, we’re well-positioned to ensure your best interests are served every step of the way.
Steve Adams
Director, Family Advisor
After five years of professional hockey, where he had the good fortune to play for Bruce Boudreau and Bruce Cassidy, Steve retired from a hockey career that included four years of junior hockey in the NAHL, OJHL, and BCHL. Knowing hockey would remain a part of his life, Steve began his post-player life as a scout for the AJHL’s Brooks Bandits and Bonnyville Pontiacs. In 2005, with his on-ice development camps growing in popularity under the banner of The Inside Edge Hockey Development, he started to realize how many players needed help in either finding a junior team or picking which one was right for them, so Steve started helping players find teams. In turn, teams started relying on Steve to help them find players that would best fit their programs. Out of that natural progression, Paramount Sports Advisory was born.

Adam Jereniuk
Director, Family Advisor
After playing 14 years of Minor and Junior hockey, Adam stayed with the game he loves by pursuing his post-secondary education at Brock University majoring in Sport Management. After graduating in May 2023, Adam was excited to join Paramount Sports Advisory to help other young hockey players achieve their goals and dreams.
During his four years at University, Adam spent his summers working alongside Steve as an on-ice camp instructor and as a certified personal trainer who developed and delivered individual training programs as part of players’ off-ice athletic development.
